Abstract

The Meteorological Department Cloud-Seeding Research Programs have carefully observed more than 250 cloud seedings under controlled experimental conditions so that many fundamental aspects are reasonably well understood. In general, clouds in Zimbabawe are suitable for seeding if they are well-rounded cumulus types, with tops reaching to the -10°C level, which is about 6,400 meters above sea level.
