Abstract

At the Wisconsin State Assembly Agriculture Committee hearing on 11 January 1978 it was reported that samples of precipitation were collected within the target area for cloud seeding with silver iodide by Shower Power, Inc.  Subsequent analyses of these samples were claimed to indicate silver concentrations ranging from several tenths parts per million to greater than three parts per million.  Examination of the literature shows that these values are extraordinarily high.... The highest value reported... here... is a factor 10 to 100 smaller than the silver concentrations claimed for seeded precipitation in Wisconsin.
